1. Agreeing to the Rules
By buying a server or using HelixNodes, you are agreeing to these rules. If you don't agree with them, please do not use our services. We want to keep things fair and safe for everyone.
2. Your Account Security
You are the only one responsible for keeping your password safe. If someone guesses your password or you share it with a friend who deletes your files, we cannot fix it or take the blame. Also, you must use a real, working email address so we can contact you about your server.
3. Billing and Late Payments
You have to pay for your server before you can use it. If your bill is 3 days late, your server will be paused automatically. If you still haven't paid after 7 days, your server and all its files will be permanently deleted to free up space for other users.
4. Backups and Data Loss
You are 100% responsible for backing up your own files. If we warn you to take a backup (like before a big server update) and you choose not to, we are not responsible for any data loss. Even without a warning, hardware can fail. Always keep your own backups safe on your computer.
5. Illegal Activity
You cannot use our servers to do anything illegal. This includes hacking, launching DDoS attacks, hosting stolen files, or sending spam emails. If we catch you doing this, we will shut down your server immediately and you will not get a refund.
6. No Crypto Mining
Mining any kind of cryptocurrency (like Bitcoin or Crypto) on our servers is strictly banned. It damages our hardware and slows down the servers for everyone else. Doing this will get your account banned.
7. Fair Server Usage
Your server comes with set limits for RAM and CPU. Trying to bypass these limits or intentionally running scripts to crash the main node ruins the experience for other customers. Play fair, or we will have to suspend your server.
8. Respecting the Staff
Our support team is here to help you fix your problems. If you swear at, threaten, or harass our staff in tickets or on Discord, we will close your account and cancel your services. Just treat people with respect.
9. Uptime and Maintenance
We try our best to keep the servers online all the time, but sometimes we need to take them offline for quick repairs or updates. We will always try to announce this beforehand in our Discord so you know what's happening.
10. Changes to these Rules
We might need to change or add to these rules in the future. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using your server after we change the rules, it means you agree to the new ones.
