1. What Data We Collect
When you make an account with HelixNodes, we collect some basic information so we can actually provide you with a server. This includes your email address, your Discord username (for support and rules confirmation), your IP address, and your billing details.
2. Why We Need Your Data
We do not collect data just for fun. We use your email to send you invoices and server alerts. We use your IP address to stop hackers, prevent fraud, and keep bad actors off our network. We use your Discord username so we know exactly who we are talking to when you open a support ticket.
3. We Do Not Sell Your Data
Let's be very clear: we will never sell your personal information, server files, or email address to advertisers or random third parties. Your data stays with us.
4. Payments and Server Delivery
We use Razorpay to handle all of your payments securely. We never even see your credit card, UPI, or bank details, they handle all the heavy security on their end. The exact second Razorpay tells us they have successfully received your payment, our system automatically hands the server over to you.
5. Server Files and Privacy
What you host on your server is your business. Our staff will never open, read, or download your personal server files unless you explicitly give us permission in a support ticket to help you fix a problem, or if we get an automated alert that you are hosting something illegal (like malware).
6. Cookies
We use small files called cookies on our website. These are just used to keep you logged into the client area and to remember if you clicked "Agree" on our rules popup. We don't use them to track you across the internet.
7. Deleting Your Account
If you are done using HelixNodes and want us to delete all your data, just open a support ticket. We will wipe your account, delete your server, and remove your email from our system. Keep in mind, we legally have to keep basic billing receipts for tax reasons.
